Brex is seeking a Staff Product Manager to operate at the intersection of product strategy, technical depth, and business impact. You will define and drive multi-quarter strategy within one of Brex's most critical product domains, leading initiatives that materially shape the company's trajectory. In this role, you will identify the highest-leverage problems, frame them with rigor, and mobilize cross-functional teams to deliver step-function improvements in customer value, revenue, efficiency, or distribution. You will work directly with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and GTM, influencing decisions beyond your immediate team and elevating the standards of product thinking across the organization. Key responsibilities include: - Define and own a multi-quarter product vision and strategy aligned to Brex's highest company priorities - Identify high-leverage opportunities that create durable competitive advantage - Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple teams, systems, and stakeholder groups - Develop deep domain expertise in your area (financial infrastructure, risk systems, growth systems, payables ecosystem, etc.) - Partner closely with Engineering on scalable technical systems and architectural discussions - Set clear success metrics tied to company-level outcomes and hold teams accountable - Drive structured decision-making in ambiguous environments - Influence senior leaders through clear thinking, strong narratives, and data-backed recommendations - Mentor PMs and improve product craft across the organization You bring 7–10+ years of product management experience with a demonstrated track record leading complex, high-impact initiatives in high-growth B2B or fintech environments. You have strong technical fluency, are highly data-driven with SQL proficiency, and excel at executive communication. Experience building platform or financial infrastructure products is strongly preferred. The role is based in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City with a hybrid arrangement requiring in-office presence at least three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday). Up to four weeks of remote work annually is permitted.
