Brex is seeking a Staff Product Manager to operate at the intersection of product strategy, technical depth, and business impact. You will define and drive multi-quarter strategy within one of Brex's most critical product domains, leading initiatives that materially shape the company's trajectory. This is a high-leverage individual contributor role focused on identifying the highest-impact problems, framing them with rigor, and mobilizing cross-functional teams to deliver step-function improvements in customer value, revenue, efficiency, or distribution. Key responsibilities include: defining and owning multi-quarter product vision and strategy aligned to company priorities; identifying high-leverage opportunities that create durable competitive advantage; leading complex cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple teams and stakeholder groups; developing deep domain expertise in areas such as financial infrastructure, risk systems, growth systems, or payables ecosystems; partnering closely with Engineering on scalable technical systems and architectural discussions; setting clear success metrics tied to company-level outcomes; driving structured decision-making in ambiguous environments; influencing senior leaders through clear thinking and data-backed recommendations; and improving product craft and operating standards across the organization through mentoring and elevating PM practices. You will work directly with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and GTM, influencing decisions beyond your immediate team. The role requires 7–10+ years of product management experience with a demonstrated track record in high-growth B2B or fintech environments. Experience building platform or financial infrastructure products is strongly preferred. You must have strong technical fluency, analytical excellence with SQL proficiency, exceptional executive communication skills, and a systems mindset that reasons holistically across product, technical, operational, compliance, and revenue dimensions. The role is based in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City with a hybrid arrangement requiring in-office presence at least three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday). Employees may work remotely for up to four weeks per year in minimum one-week blocks.
