As Staff Product Manager for Sponsored Results (Ads), you will own one of Zocdoc's most critical monetization pillars. You'll define strategy, roadmap, and performance of patient-facing advertising across search and discovery surfaces. Your responsibilities include driving meaningful improvements in revenue, conversion, and marketplace efficiency while ensuring ads remain relevant, trustworthy, and additive to the patient experience. Key responsibilities: - Own a significant share of Ads revenue through the Sponsored Results product - Drive measurable improvements in revenue, yield, and marketplace efficiency - Shape core systems powering Sponsored Results, including auction design, ranking, and pricing - Review patient UX research and behavioral data to understand quality signals in provider selection - Scope new advertising opportunities across the Zocdoc app - Collaborate with Design to iterate on ad placements and refine patient experience - Run experiments to improve conversion and analyze how patient traffic impacts conversion rates - Identify and develop new monetization opportunities across emerging surfaces You'll be successful if you have 6+ years of product experience with substantial time in adtech, advertising platforms, or marketplace monetization. You should demonstrate strong data-driven decision-making, experimentation instincts, and the ability to define and evaluate success metrics rigorously. Experience with ML/AI-driven products is a plus. You'll need strong communication skills to influence cross-functional partners across Engineering, Design, Search, and ML teams, and a genuine motivation for building zero-to-one products and scaling them into durable businesses. The role is based in Soho, New York, with a flexible hybrid work environment.
