The company is building a new AI-native recruiting product from the ground up that reimagines how recruiters and hiring managers source, engage, and manage talent.
As Staff Product Designer for Autonomous Recruiting, you will shape the foundational experience of this new product, working at the intersection of conversational AI, agentic automation, and traditional structured tools. This is a rare opportunity to design a consumer-grade, craft-forward experience for a complex B2B workflow rather than iterate on an existing product.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with product, engineering, and data teams to define problems, set goals, and shape product strategy for this high-visibility product area
- Own design end-to-end: user flows, interaction prototypes, high-fidelity mocks, and collaboration through build
- Tackle complex, ambiguous human-centered design problems and translate them into clear, simple solutions
- Design core interaction patterns for working with AI and agents, particularly around chat, composer, and movement between conversational and structured product areas
- Rapidly iterate through wireframes and prototypes to gather early feedback
- Maintain high standards for craft, visual design, and interaction design
- Collaborate with designers on adjacent product areas to ensure coherent, unified experience
The role involves working quickly in an environment with evolving scope, requiring comfort with ambiguity and a strong opinion on how users should collaborate with AI and agents day-to-day.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of product design experience, ideally on enterprise or B2B products with complex workflows
- Strong communicator who articulates design decisions, tradeoffs, and reasoning clearly to partners and leadership
- Deep visual and interaction design expertise with proven track record of shipped work and measurable impact
- Comfortable incorporating generative AI tools into the design process while maintaining high standards for product thinking, craft, and UX
- Highly collaborative; values diverse perspectives and incorporates them into design process
- Design-led thinker who raises the bar and helps others grow
- Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change; excited to build from scratch
- Gritty, hands-on, willing to take ownership
- Curious with growth mindset
Nice to have: Experience designing AI-native products with expertise in chat, composer, and agent interaction patterns.
