As Staff Product Analyst for the Consumer business, you will be a central figure in driving data-informed product decisions at a rapidly scaling startup. Working cross-functionally with product managers and leadership, you'll generate deep insights into user behavior and engagement to fuel product innovation and strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with PMs to define feature goals and lead A/B testing and experimentation initiatives, designing tests, tracking events, and analyzing results to measure attribution, causation, and incremental lift
- Conduct proactive exploratory analyses and in-depth research on large datasets to uncover high-impact product opportunities
- Build dashboards and monitoring frameworks to track and visualize KPIs across the organization
- Present insights and recommendations to executives and various organizational levels to influence strategic changes
- Collaborate with data engineers to maintain consistent business logic and data governance
- Foster a data-driven, test-and-learn culture through storytelling, analytics, experimentation, and user journey research
- Use advanced SQL, data visualization, and scripting skills to answer complex questions with actionable insights
You'll need 7+ years in data analysis, data science, or data-driven product management. Required skills include expert SQL, proficiency with data visualization tools, A/B testing expertise, statistical knowledge (regression, confidence intervals), and familiarity with Python or R. You should thrive independently in fast-paced environments, multi-tasking across competing priorities.
