Rubrik is seeking a Staff Product Manager for Cloud Security Architecture to lead the strategic vision and execution of security across its cloud product portfolio. This is a highly technical role combining deep security expertise with product instincts to translate enterprise security challenges into actionable product requirements.
You will own the long-term security roadmap for Rubrik's cloud offerings, built on Zero Trust principles. Key responsibilities include:
• Develop deep understanding of Rubrik's cloud product architecture and articulate architectural decisions to cross-functional teams and customers
• Drive the cloud product and platform security roadmap across multiple security domains, ensuring portfolio alignment and coherence
• Monitor customer expectations and hyperscaler best practices to identify product gaps and market opportunities
• Act as primary evangelist for cloud product security, partnering with customers and account teams to define roadmap across UX, technology, and business dimensions
• Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives ensuring all cloud products meet platform security standards
• Own product risk identification, assessment, and prioritization for high-impact platform vulnerabilities
• Influence senior stakeholders across InfoSec, Engineering, UX, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Support to align vision and secure resources
• Communicate complex security concepts clearly to diverse audiences—from engineering teams to executive leadership to external customers and partners
• Identify market opportunities and lead new product developments that drive measurable revenue, profitability, and customer trust impact
• Mentor other Product Managers, fostering clarity and strong engineering partnerships
Required qualifications: 3+ years in enterprise cloud product development with hyperscalers, ideally with hands-on technical or architecture background. Prior experience as Security Architect, Solutions Architect, or Senior/Staff Engineer highly desirable. Deep expertise in cloud security, threat modeling, and the big 3 hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP). Practical experience with API security, microservices, and container security (Kubernetes). Demonstrated success managing multiple high-impact products simultaneously with deep technical acumen. Expertise in Zero Trust architecture, authentication/authorization (SSO, SAML, OpenID, RBAC), and data protection/encryption technologies. Bachelor's in technical field or equivalent; advanced degree and/or cybersecurity certifications (CCSP, CISSP, CCSK) highly desired.
