Salary: USD 220,000 - 260,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Operations Analyst to join the Mission Engineering team supporting Air Dominance & Strike initiatives. This role is central to Anduril's mission of transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced defense technology, autonomy, AI, and sensor fusion.
You will serve as a technical analyst providing rigorous, data-driven analytical products to guide business strategy, inform military requirements, and investigate concepts of employment. Working directly with internal and external stakeholders, you will translate complex questions into physics-based analyses, often designing experiments using mission-level simulations. Your work will follow the scientific method and produce clear, compelling analytical artifacts with actionable conclusions that accompany demonstration events to quantify how Anduril technology delivers mission success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Employing the scientific method to develop model-driven analysis and build models from scratch
- Developing deep understanding of Anduril's platform, autonomy, simulation, and perception products
- Leveraging advanced internal modeling and simulation (M&S) capabilities to provide competitive analytical advantage
- Translating complex technical findings into clear summaries for internal program teams and external customers through exceptional written and verbal communication
Required qualifications:
- 12+ years in a relevant Science or Engineering field
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance (required to maintain)
- 5+ years hands-on AFSIM scripting experience
- Proficiency in modeling and scripting languages (Python, MATLAB, Simulink)
- Demonstrated experience in platform M&S (aero, fuel, signature modeling) and payload M&S (radar, EOIR, communications, weapons)
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Working knowledge of military domains: OCA/DCA, ISR, SEAD/DEAD, Electronic Attack, or Long Range Fires
Preferred qualifications include advanced degree (MS/Ph.D.), ability to obtain Top Secret clearance, demonstrated ability to lead operations analysis studies end-to-end, signal processing experience (track fusion, filtering), and RF propagation modeling expertise.
