Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Modeling and Simulation Analyst to support the development of advanced defense technologies featuring layered autonomy and scalable production. This role is part of the Mission Engineering Operations (AME OA) team, which provides rigorous, data-driven analytical products to guide business strategy, inform requirements, and investigate concepts of employment.
You will engage directly with internal and external stakeholders to translate complex questions into physics-based analyses, often designing experiments using mission-level simulations. Working within Anduril's advanced modeling and simulation capabilities, you will follow the scientific method to develop model-driven analyses and generate clear, compelling analytical artifacts with actionable conclusions. Your work will often accompany demonstration events to quantify how Anduril technology delivers mission success to warfighters.
Key responsibilities include: employing the scientific method to develop and build models; developing deep understanding of Anduril's platform, autonomy, simulation, and perception products; leveraging advanced internal M&S capabilities to provide competitive advantage; and translating complex technical findings into clear summaries for both internal teams and external customers through exceptional written and verbal communication.
Required qualifications: 12+ years in relevant Science or Engineering; active U.S. Secret security clearance (maintainable); proficiency in modeling and scripting languages (Python, MATLAB, Simulink); demonstrated experience in platform M&A (aero, fuel, signature modeling) and payload M&A (radar, EOIR, communications, weapons); exceptional communication and presentation skills; working knowledge of domains such as OCA/DCA, ISR, SEAD/DEAD, Electronic Attack, or Long Range Fires.
Preferred qualifications include ability to obtain Top Secret clearance, 5+ years AFSIM scripting experience, demonstrated ability to lead operations analysis studies from concept to completion, signal processing experience (track fusion, filtering), and RF propagation modeling experience (communications, radar, EW).
