As a Staff Generalist Engineer, you will tackle some of the company's most complex technical challenges, including LLM memory optimization, multi-language codebase indexing, semantic search for large codebases, and autonomous bug detection through AI-generated E2E tests. Your responsibilities span the full engineering lifecycle: designing and implementing features, gathering user feedback for iteration, leading cross-team initiatives spanning multiple quarters, setting architectural direction and technical standards, and building platforms and shared infrastructure that accelerate the entire team.
You will also proactively manage risk across scaling, incidents, security, and compliance. The role requires 6+ years of software or DevOps engineering experience, a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent, and proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript. The team is small, talent-dense, and composed of engineers who have scaled critical functions at Stripe, Google, and Figma.
