Ibotta, a leading performance marketing platform (NYSE: IBTA), is seeking a Staff Decision Scientist for Client Analytics to join their Denver-based team. This hybrid role (3 days/week in office) focuses on delivering best-in-class analytics solutions and actionable insights to third-party publisher clients, primarily in the beverage and emerging business units. As an Individual Contributor at the Staff level, you will lead and mentor others through example while partnering with internal client account teams and engaging directly with C-suite and senior technology leadership. You'll work closely with external clients to understand their business goals—especially around incremental revenue—and present analytical findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Key responsibilities include: optimizing client success on Ibotta platforms through data-driven analysis; leading large, complicated analytical projects while maintaining high quality and clear milestone communication; anticipating and adopting emerging analytical and technical capabilities; mentoring junior team members on technical and business topics; and serving as an analytics thought-partner across cross-functional initiatives. You'll leverage modern data analysis tools (Databricks, SQL, Python, Git/GitHub) and BI platforms (Looker, Tableau) to build innovative analytical products and proactively identify data-driven insights. Strong communication skills are essential—you'll develop data summaries, visualizations, and compelling narratives for senior executives. Required qualifications: 7+ years in an analytical function; Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field (advanced degree preferred); advanced proficiency with modern data analysis pipelines and BI tools; excellent communication and presentation skills; and a track record of client-facing consulting work. CPG industry experience and supplier/agency-side background are strong pluses. You should be an independent self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities and actively shaping training programs to upskill junior team members. Ibotta offers competitive compensation ($128k–$151k base), equity, flexible time off, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, ESPP, 401k match, and Denver office perks including paid parking and bagel Thursdays. Relocation assistance available. Must be authorized to work in the US full-time.
