OpenLoop is a telehealth platform company seeking a Staff Data Analyst to lead analytics strategy and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. This is a senior individual contributor role on the Business Intelligence team, requiring hands-on SQL expertise combined with strategic business partnership capabilities.
You will define and execute analytics strategy in partnership with executive leadership, shaping long-term KPI frameworks tied to patient outcomes, provider performance, compliance metrics, and operational scalability. Key responsibilities include daily SQL development work to clean, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources; supporting regulatory reporting and healthcare compliance requirements; identifying data quality risks and audit readiness issues; and developing predictive models using SQL, Python, or R.
You'll serve as a strategic analytics partner across Finance, Operations, and Clinical functions, translating non-technical stakeholder requests into structured analytical plans. The role includes designing enterprise-level reporting frameworks, building scalable data models, leading executive presentations that synthesize complex data into strategic recommendations, and mentoring mid and senior-level analysts on both technical and business acumen.
Required qualifications: 7–10 years of professional experience with exceptional analytical thinking and strategic stakeholder engagement skills; hands-on data analytics experience preferably in healthcare, telehealth, or highly regulated industries; Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field; expert-level SQL proficiency with strong Python or R experience; advanced BI/visualization tool experience (Tableau, Power BI, Zoho Analytics); strong understanding of healthcare operations, compliance, and regulatory reporting; proven ability to operate independently in ambiguous, high-stakes environments; demonstrated experience influencing executive-level stakeholders; and exceptional communication skills.
Preferred: multi-state healthcare operations experience, HIPAA/healthcare compliance familiarity, board-level reporting or investor analytics support, and experience building enterprise KPI frameworks tied to patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
