SmithRx is a venture-backed healthtech company disrupting the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) sector with a next-generation drug acquisition platform. The company has onboarded hundreds of thousands of members since 2016 and is positioned as a market leader in the Modern PBM space. As a Staff Data Analyst, you will lead the data function through technical excellence and mentorship. Your responsibilities include establishing data-driven business command by partnering with technical and business stakeholders to design key metrics, dashboards, and AI-enabled reporting systems. You will conduct rigorous analyses to reveal root causes, uncover opportunities, and forecast outcomes that drive product and business impact. You'll transform complex findings into compelling narratives that influence strategic direction. You will champion trustworthy data by collaborating with Data Engineers to influence the design and maintenance of dimensional data models, ensuring data completeness, accuracy, and reliable delivery. You'll champion world-class data governance practices and continuously raise the bar for data and code quality across technical teams. As a force multiplier, you'll amplify team performance by partnering with stakeholders to align roadmaps with business priorities, influencing better problem framing, and modeling excellence. You'll provide incisive technical mentorship, inspire intellectual curiosity, and drive clarity amidst ambiguity across the entire Data team. You bring 8+ years of hands-on experience influencing product and business decision-making through advanced analytical skill. You have a Bachelor's degree in an analytical field (STEM); Master's or Ph.D. is preferred. Healthcare and/or pharmacy experience is preferred. You have advanced technical proficiency including deep experience collaborating with Data & Analytics Engineers to architect robust data models, leveraging SQL and dbt to query and transform complex datasets, and designing data products and visualizations that deliver actionable insights. You are a self-starter with excellent communication and storytelling skills, and proven leadership prowess.
