Hims & Hers, a leading telehealth and wellness platform (NYSE: HIMS), is seeking a Staff Analyst, Product & Marketing to serve as a strategic analytics partner across product and marketing organizations. You will drive impact across the full customer journey—from acquisition and conversion to retention and growth—working cross-functionally with product managers, growth leads, category managers, marketing channel owners, designers, engineers, and data scientists.
Key responsibilities include: providing thought leadership and strategic partnership to influence product roadmap and marketing investment decisions with data-driven insights; owning experimentation strategy across product and marketing workstreams, including test design, success metrics, sample-size estimation, and results interpretation; applying causal inference methods (difference-in-differences, propensity score matching) to identify drivers of metric movement; partnering with Data Science on predictive models (churn, LTV, conversion propensity) that inform decisions; owning conversion funnel analytics end-to-end to identify drop-off points and drive improvements; assessing paid channel performance (SEM, Social, CRM) and translating findings into investment recommendations; collaborating with Data Science, Analytics Engineering, and Data Engineering teams on tracking requirements and data integrity; developing scalable analytical solutions using Python/R and SQL; designing intuitive Looker dashboards for self-service analytics; segmenting users for product experiences and marketing targeting; championing data quality and mentoring junior analysts; creating KPI frameworks and measurement plans; and conducting deep-dive analyses to answer strategic business questions.
You bring 8+ years of analytics, data science, or related quantitative experience; a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 5+ years designing and analyzing A/B tests in product/marketing environments; experience partnering with Data Science on predictive models in Python/R; extensive experience with data engineering teams and production pipelines; strong data modeling and statistics knowledge with expertise in experimental design and statistical inference; experience with causal inference techniques beyond standard A/B testing; familiarity with subscription-based business models and metrics (conversion funnels, cohort analysis, churn); hands-on marketing analytics experience (paid channels, CRM, incrementality testing, attribution); expert SQL skills and advanced Looker/Tableau experience; ability to explain technical analyses to non-technical audiences and senior leadership; and a track record of shaping product and marketing strategy, not just executing analyses.
Preferred qualifications include experience with multi-touch attribution, media mix modeling, incrementality testing, price testing and elasticity modeling, telehealth or subscription healthcare models, GrowthBook or comparable experimentation platforms, and DBT, Airflow, or Databricks. This role reports to the Director of Product and Marketing Analytics and offers competitive salary, equity, unlimited PTO, comprehensive health benefits, and a flexible remote-first culture.
