Salary: USD 94,610 - 130,090 / annual
Divergent 3D is building the new industrial age, serving as a Tier 1 supplier to global automotive OEMs and supporting leading U.S. aerospace and defense companies. The Staff Accountant II supports day-to-day accounting operations and ensures accuracy of financial records through timely reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting.
Key responsibilities include: preparing daily bank reconciliations and resolving variances independently; owning fixed assets and lease schedules including additions, disposals, depreciation, and ASC 842 compliance; preparing recurring journal entries and account reconciliations during month-end close; contributing to monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages by preparing recurring schedules independently; providing support in preparing PBCs for external auditors and tax preparers; assisting with sales/use tax and property tax return preparation; and participating in process improvement initiatives and ERP enhancements.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 2-4 years of accounting experience in industry or public accounting. Required skills include knowledge of U.S. GAAP, proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables), strong attention to detail, and ability to organize and prioritize tasks independently. Preferred qualifications include CPA eligibility or working toward certification and exposure to Oracle Fusion or other mid-to-large ERP systems. The role is based in the Torrance, CA office with 4 days onsite required. The position involves standard office work with occasional extended hours during month-end close and audit periods, and operates in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment requiring adaptability and problem-solving with limited oversight.
