As a Staff Accountant based in Stockholm, you will own core day-to-day accounting responsibilities and lead monthly close processes for allocated entities across multiple jurisdictions. Your key responsibilities include executing monthly closes with journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations; conducting month-on-month flux analysis to investigate and explain account movements; supporting annual audits by preparing PBC schedules and reconciliations; and collaborating on intercompany transactions and group consolidation matters.
You will work within a modern, systems-driven finance stack and collaborate closely with colleagues in Stockholm and the US. The role offers opportunities to improve and automate close processes, reconciliations, and documentation within the ERP and surrounding tools.
You bring 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally from an audit firm or fast-moving company environment, with strong experience in US GAAP in multi-entity, multi-currency settings. You are meticulous with reconciliations and documentation, structured and process-driven, and bring a problem-solving mindset to fast-moving environments. You communicate effectively in international settings and work comfortably across cultures and time zones.
Nice-to-have qualifications include SOX and public company control environment experience, exposure to group consolidation, SaaS/software company accounting background, and familiarity with AI tools in finance workflows.
