Wolt is a delivery platform operating in over 500 cities across 30 countries, now part of the DoorDash family. As SSC Training Manager, you will lead the training function within Wolt's Shared Service Centre, overseeing all training programs, team development, and learning initiatives while balancing global standards with local market needs.
You will manage a team of Training Leads and Training Specialists, ensuring they deliver high-quality learning experiences. Key responsibilities include:
**Team Leadership & Development:** Lead and inspire the training team, fostering a culture of growth and ensuring team members have resources to excel. Oversee trainer performance and development.
**KPI Tracking & Analytics:** Monitor training effectiveness through KPI analysis, identify performance gaps, and drive continuous improvement based on data insights.
**Train-the-Trainer Certification:** Implement and maintain trainer certification processes, ensuring all trainers meet quality standards and maintain ongoing competency.
**Learning Strategy:** Develop and manage high-volume, cohort-based onboarding programs that accelerate agent readiness while maintaining quality. Create instructional strategies tailored to SSC needs, balancing onboarding and continuous learning.
**Global-Local Collaboration:** Serve as the key liaison between local SSC teams and global training organization. Lead rollout of global training initiatives, customize delivery for local nuances, and surface local performance patterns and content gaps to inform global strategy.
**Project Management:** Coordinate training rollouts and cross-functional initiatives, adapting global programs to fit local requirements.
You will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, instructional design expertise, project management skills, and performance consulting capabilities. The role requires clear communication bridging global and local teams, cultural awareness, strategic problem-solving, attention to detail, and deep accountability for SSC training outcomes.
**Requirements:**
- Proven ability to lead and develop a training team
- Skilled in interpreting training data and translating insights into program improvements
- Knowledge of instructional design and learning strategy development
- Strong project coordination and management experience
- Experience with performance consulting and root-cause analysis of performance gaps
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in cross-functional and global environments
- Cultural awareness and adaptability to local market needs
- Fluent English (required)
- Available to work from Tbilisi office
