Kong is seeking a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to own the technical narrative around AI traffic management and registry capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of product marketing and technical evangelism, focusing on Kong's AI gateway, guardrails, and AI/MCP/agent registry and discovery experiences. Key responsibilities include: - Develop and evolve positioning and messaging for Kong's AI traffic management capabilities, including LLM routing, policy enforcement, content safety, and multi-agent traffic governance - Build the narrative around AI, MCP, and agent registries, covering listing, registration, governance, and developer discovery - Lead technical field enablement for Solution Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and other technical field roles - Serve as technical evangelist at industry events, analyst briefings, webinars, and customer conversations - Produce deep technical content including demos, reference architectures, technical whitepapers, and documentation-adjacent materials - Partner with product management to shape how new capabilities are framed, named, and sequenced for market impact - Deliver technical positioning, proof points, and demo assets for launches and campaigns - Mentor and elevate technical storytelling standards across the AI portfolio Kong is the AI Connectivity Company, building the connectivity layer for AI. Requirements: - 7+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or solutions engineering, ideally at an AI/ML platform company - Genuine hands-on interest in AI infrastructure with credible knowledge of LLM deployment, agentic frameworks, Model Context Protocol, and AI governance - Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into crisp narratives for both technical practitioners and C-suite buyers - Highly collaborative approach working across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Partner teams - Comfortable with public speaking and presentations (keynotes, analyst briefings, customer roundtables, demo sessions) - Strong preference for experience in open-source software, SaaS platforms, and enterprise go-to-market motions - Familiarity with the AI connectivity landscape, including API gateways, AI observability, vector databases, iPaaS, and agentic orchestration frameworks
