Qualtrics is seeking a Senior System Analyst to serve as the go-to expert for Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue platforms within the IT Business Systems team. This role is critical for enhancing the integrity, security, and efficiency of financial systems, with a primary focus on subscription management and revenue recognition. You will collaborate closely with global finance, sales, and other business systems teams to drive impactful enhancements that support financial strategy and business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Zuora Billing and Revenue, driving platform governance, system configuration, functional design, and process optimization
- Triage issues, identify required bug fixes, and prioritize incidents in partnership with users and third-party resources
- Build custom solutions using Zuora functionality (Workflows, automations) and API tools like Postman
- Map data pathways to troubleshoot upstream and downstream data issues while designing future-proof data structures
- Automate finance operations including subscription lifecycle management, billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition
- Drive end-to-end testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance to guarantee billing accuracy
- Maintain strict compliance with SOX control frameworks and external accounting standards (ASC 606, IFRS 15)
- Lead SOX and ITGC reviews for Revenue and Billing systems
- Partner cross-functionally across Finance, Revenue Accounting, Sales Operations, IT, and external vendors
- Author and maintain comprehensive documentation covering system configurations, integration flows, policies, and operational procedures
You will work in a hybrid model with three days per week in the Mexico City office (Mondays, Thursdays, plus one additional day selected by leadership).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Professional fluency in English
- 5+ years of relevant experience in finance systems development and administration with significant expertise in Zuora Billing, Subscription Management, and Revenue Recognition
- Proven experience with Zuora configurations and custom development, including product catalog, subscriptions, billing rules, payment gateways, and revenue recognition (Zuora Billing and Revenue certifications preferred)
- Experience tracing and triaging issues across connected data flows between Salesforce CPQ, Workato, Zuora, and NetSuite
- Strong understanding of international billing complexities including multi-currency processing and localized payment gateways
- Hands-on experience integrating and managing Avalara for global tax compliance
- Deep working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue standards and SOX internal control environments
- Experience and understanding of relational database systems and structures, data query, and report writing
- Ability to make sound decisions in uncertain and time-sensitive circumstances
