As Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain the systems and infrastructure powering PayNearMe's applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance. You'll bring a software engineering mindset to operations, automating processes and continuously improving infrastructure and tooling. Key responsibilities include: designing and implementing scalable, resilient infrastructure using Terraform; deploying and optimizing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications with Docker; developing comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions using Datadog; defining and maintaining SLOs/SLAs; responding to incidents with root cause analysis and blameless postmortems; ensuring production environment reliability; developing automation scripts in Python, Bash, or Go; enhancing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI; capacity planning and auto-scaling; implementing security best practices and compliance standards; collaborating with development teams on reliability and scalability; developing internal tools for operational efficiency; and participating in on-call rotations. Required qualifications: 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or related role; proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) including EC2, RDS, VPCs, and security groups; strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker for deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
