Tungsten Automation is seeking a Senior Sales Account Executive for the West territory to drive strategic enterprise-wide sales initiatives across their intelligent automation software platform. The platform helps government agencies transform information-intensive business processes through generative AI, intelligent document processing, process orchestration, and analytics.
In this role, you will identify, qualify, and close new business within assigned target accounts, focusing on very large prospects and installed base expansion. You'll work with VP and C-level audiences to articulate the value of Tungsten's solutions aligned with strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include account and territory planning, prospecting, pipeline management across multiple concurrent sales cycles, and developing comprehensive sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals.
You'll collaborate closely with Lead Generation, Inside Sales, and Sales Engineering teams to build a strong pipeline. The role requires managing long sales cycles, positioning seven-figure opportunities through effective negotiations, and maintaining deep networks of 40+ contact points per target organization. You'll develop and execute field marketing activities, leverage the partner ecosystem for joint prospecting, and maintain clean CRM records using proven sales methodologies.
The position emphasizes executive-level relationship management, boardroom presence, and solution selling expertise. You'll conduct C-level discussions with technical, business, and financial influencers while understanding operational objectives. The role also includes utilizing AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and streamline routine tasks while adhering to company AI governance and data privacy standards.
Required qualifications include 5-8 years of successful enterprise software and SaaS sales experience, established relationships with Global 2000 accounts, and a proven track record of exceeding quotas. Experience with RPA, cognitive capture, process orchestration, and analytics solutions is strongly preferred. You'll need excellent communication and technical presentation skills, strong intellectual capabilities, and a collaborative hunter personality combined with boardroom presence. A BS/BA degree is required (MBA preferred), with proficiency in CRM systems and sales productivity tools.
