Precision for Medicine seeks a Senior Project Finance Analyst to lead portfolio-level financial analysis across Clinical Solutions departments. This strategic, business-partnering role focuses on project and portfolio financial health, including forecasting, budget performance, financial controls, and trial operations KPIs.
Key responsibilities include owning portfolio-level financial analysis for Clinical Solutions, leading project financial oversight across the full lifecycle from award through closeout, and performing variance analysis to identify drivers of change and emerging risks. You will partner with project finance teams to ensure data consistency and integrity, support departmental forecasting and planning processes, and monitor budget consumption and earned value indicators across portfolios.
The role requires developing and maintaining trial operations KPIs that link operational performance to financial outcomes (enrollment pace vs. burn, milestone progress vs. revenue, site activity vs. cost). You will leverage Excel and Power BI to create scalable dashboards and analyses supporting portfolio governance and executive review, translating complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
You will act as a trusted finance partner to Clinical Solutions department heads, supporting planning, performance reviews, and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include preparing high-quality presentations and executive-ready materials summarizing portfolio performance, risks, and recommendations, and collaborating closely with Project Management, Clinical Operations, Data Management, and Finance teams to ensure alignment between operational execution and financial reporting.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience. Preferred: degree in finance, accounting, or business; 5-8 years in project finance, FP&A, or operational finance with CRO or clinical research industry experience; demonstrated experience managing clinical trial portfolios and complex project financials; advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar BI tool knowledge; strong presentation skills; and solid understanding of clinical trial financial drivers and project lifecycles.
