Enveda is a clinical-stage, AI-enabled biotech discovering medicines from nature. The company recently raised $311M in Series E funding (total $845M+) and has tripled its valuation to $2B. Three oral medicines are in clinical trials, including ENV-294 in Phase 2 for eczema and asthma.
You will serve as a strategic and operational leader for a single asset program, acting as the connective tissue across cross-functional teams and serving as a strategic copilot to the Asset Entrepreneur. This is a founder-mentality role where you will be judged on the speed and quality of asset decisions and resulting progress, not on activity metrics.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate as a strategic thought partner, anticipating program inflection points, modeling scenarios, and advising on acceleration, pivots, or pauses based on data and risk
- Own program execution end-to-end as the COO of a single-asset biotech: identify obstacles, coordinate across functions, manage CRO partners, and maintain alignment dashboards
- Translate scientific, clinical, regulatory, and operational complexity into clear analytical insights and data-driven options for the Board and C-suite
- Maintain disciplined documentation, decision capture, and operational clarity with accessible, action-ready dashboards and trackers
- Contribute to institutional intelligence by documenting benchmarks, best practices, and learnings to accelerate future programs
- Manage longitudinal asset development from IND-enabling studies through commercial strategy
- Engage externally with vendors, advisors, and strategic partners; build presence among disease-area thought leaders
- Participate in Board and investor engagement, embedding in BD processes
- Develop scientific storytelling to communicate novel biology to patients, clinicians, and investors
- Contribute to company-building and culture creation as Enveda scales
The role sits at the intersection of strategy, science, and operations, with decisions that visibly move both the program and company. Remote-based with approximately monthly travel to meet the team and external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Experienced in biotech or pharma program management, portfolio or asset strategy, management consulting, or operations
- Fluent with AI, using it as a multiplier of human judgment and creativity from the start of workflows
- Crisp communicator able to synthesize cross-disciplinary information into clear, compelling options with concise slides/memos and clear data analysis
- Willing to roll up sleeves and execute tactically when needed; gaps don't linger in your perimeter
- Comfortable thriving in ambiguity and moving fluidly between strategic vision and tactical execution
- Emotionally intelligent, humble, and honest; leads through collaboration, not control
- Intellectually curious, analytically rigorous, with optimism that lifts the team
- Company hires for trajectory, not just credentials; most qualifications are preferred, not absolute
