As Senior Product Manager for Trading, you will collaborate with other Trading Product Managers and Product Leads to guide the vision for Trading, Order Management Systems (OMS), and IBOR (Integrated Book of Record) products. You will be building this product suite anew, working closely with the design team to improve advisor and trader-facing workflows and create engaging, scalable experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop a solid understanding of Trading, Rebalancing, and OMS systems used in US and European wealth management, including their users, business value, technical landscape, data, vendors, and ecosystem relationships
- Document and communicate product goals and drive an innovative roadmap that conveys team vision to clients
- Build consensus with cross-functional teams to prioritize work based on effort, interdependencies, and other criteria
- Execute product vision and implement strategy in collaboration with engineering, design, and other functions
- Adjust strategy in response to changing company, business, market, and technical needs
- Identify appropriate users, partners, competitors, and market trends to inform product decisions
- Partner with engineering to define functional and technical implementations
- Guide teams through project iterations using agile and lean practices
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in product management, software development, user workflows, or team leadership
- Fundamental knowledge of finance, trading, and investments, specifically trading for wealth management firms
- Ability to communicate finance domain knowledge and problems effectively to internal teams, clients, and third-party partners
- Understanding of high-level data development concepts, data modeling, and ability to write and review technical requirements documents
- Practical knowledge of agile thinking, lean practices, and project management
- Strong ability to identify appropriate tools, people, and techniques to accomplish objectives
