Anrok is a tax automation platform that helps businesses expand globally without compliance complexity. The company automates tax monitoring, calculations, and filing across 50 US jurisdictions and 100+ countries, serving 40% of Forbes Top 50 AI companies and customers like Notion, Anthropic, and Cursor. Backed by over $100M from Sequoia, Spark, Index, and Khosla Ventures, Anrok files more tax returns each month than the previous month. As Product Manager for File & Remit, you will own the final mile of tax compliance—from preparing a return until money reaches the tax authority. You'll tackle two core problems: (1) building a filing platform that scales to every return globally with full automation and minimal human intervention, and (2) opening Anrok internationally by enabling remittance from local bank accounts in top markets. Key responsibilities include: - Design a filing platform that scales to every return worldwide, with most filings fully automated and zero human touches - Integrate AI agents into the filing process to write automations, catch problems before filing periods open, and repair issues automatically - Enable international sellers by building remittance infrastructure that works from local bank accounts in local currency - Own money movement end-to-end: collecting seller funds and landing payments at thousands of tax authorities across currencies, banking partners, and jurisdictions - Build tools for the in-house TaxOps team to increase jurisdiction coverage with less effort - Drive key metrics: cost per filing, 100% on-time filings, and fewer amendments - Identify the next frontier, including whether Anrok's filing engine becomes a standalone platform - Work cross-functionally with TaxOps, finance, sales, support, and leadership The role is based in San Francisco (strongly preferred) with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days per week in-office collaboration. REQUIREMENTS: - 4+ years of product management experience, with 2+ years building B2B products - Experience in payments, fintech, money movement, or high-volume operational systems - Systems thinking: ability to design for 100x scale, not just next month - Comfort going deep technically alongside engineers building automation infrastructure - High standards in areas where mistakes cost customers money - GM mindset with strong product and business instincts - Clear, concise communication (verbal and written) - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills - Proactive identification of what it takes to make your product and team successful - Curiosity about new tools: experience experimenting with AI and building something with it (application, workflow, or creative solution) that you can walk through
