Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Driver Management platform, a foundational component of their Connected Operations Cloud. This role owns the product vision, strategy, and north star metric for driver identification and assignment across hundreds of thousands of commercial vehicles using facial recognition, voice agents, and advanced ML models. You will decompose complex funnel problems into discrete, measurable solutions and ship them with urgency. The work sits at the intersection of AI, computer vision, and systems thinking, requiring analytical rigor, technical depth, and a bias toward action. Key responsibilities include: owning the product vision and strategy for 100% driver assignment; working directly with customers and drivers to define seamless assignment workflows; collaborating with best-in-class AI and ML teams to define CV, ML, and voice agent-based solutions; defining success metrics and driving continuous experimentation grounded in data and customer feedback; partnering with world-class engineering teams to deliver technically complex solutions; and championing Samsara's cultural principles as the company scales globally. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record shipping products at scale. You demonstrate strong analytical rigor, naturally decomposing big metric problems into segments and root causes. You possess technical depth sufficient to be a true thought partner to ML engineers on model strategy, confidence thresholds, and system architecture. You have a track record of shipping with urgency, bias toward action, fast iteration, and data-driven prioritization. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across cross-functional teams are essential. This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the United States. Samsara operates in industries representing over 40% of global GDP—agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing—helping digitally transform physical operations at scale.
