Hims & Hers, a NYSE-traded health and wellness platform, is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of its Sexual Health experience—one of the company's founding and highest-engagement categories. You will partner with Design, Product Management, Clinical, and Engineering teams to create a best-in-class telemedicine experience across the sexual health journey, from initial consultation through ongoing treatment.
The role sits at the intersection of two mandates: refining and improving the current product while defining the next generation of features. You will spend time iterating on existing flows, reducing friction, and elevating visual and interaction quality across onboarding, diagnosis intake, treatment selection, refills, and check-ins. Simultaneously, you will use AI-native design tools and workflows to prototype and test bolder product directions for future releases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and iterating on the sexual health app experience, identifying friction points and designing measurable improvements across core user journeys
- Bringing an AI-native workflow to your design practice—using AI tools for research synthesis, rapid concept generation, prototyping, and content exploration
- Exploring how AI-powered features (personalization, triage, guided decision-making, ongoing care support) could enhance the sexual health product itself
- Translating longer-term clinical and product vision into concrete design direction and connective tissue between current and future states
- Deeply understanding user needs, anxieties, and behaviors in sexual health care, where trust, discretion, and empathy are critical
- Participating in customer research, testing, and iteration to reduce stigma and build confidence at every step
- Collaborating with cross-functional partners to navigate complex, sensitive problems and drive projects from conception to launch
You are a user-centric, problem-solving designer who is motivated, ego-free, and committed to continuous improvement. You are equally comfortable shipping polished iterations in the current sprint and sketching bolder, AI-shaped product directions for future years. You excel at translating dense, sensitive, and often stigmatized subject matter into design that feels simple, human, and trustworthy.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years in a UX or Product Design role, leading design alongside cross-functional partners in Product, Engineering, and Research
- Hands-on experience designing with AI tools as part of your day-to-day workflow (research, ideation, prototyping, or content generation), or strong enthusiasm and aptitude for adopting one
- A holistic approach to design, from category-level strategy down to pixel-level detail
- Comfort designing for sensitive, high-stigma subject matter with empathy and discretion
- Self-starter mentality; solution-oriented and comfortable defining, scoping, and designing for new opportunities with or without input from others
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present decisions and process clearly and confidently
- Enthusiasm for growth and feedback; ability to work well with designers of all levels
- Adaptability and excitement for working in a fast-paced environment
- Solid visual craft with an eye for detail
- Expert proficiency in Figma
NICE TO HAVE:
- Previous experience building products 0-to-1 in a startup
- Passion for motion design, specifically as it relates to interaction
- Previous experience in telehealth, pharma, or healthcare
