AEVEX is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to lead the development, analysis, and maintenance of pricing strategies for government and commercial contracts. This hybrid/remote role (with preference for Central or Eastern Time Zone candidates) involves up to 10% travel.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing cost and pricing strategies in collaboration with Business Group Leadership and Capture Teams
- Independently analyzing DRFP/RFP documentation to identify appropriate cost/price strategies and tactical approaches
- Assembling labor and material costs with estimators, modeling pricing impacts on revenue and profit through multi-outcome business case analysis
- Creating cost models and narratives for various contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, IDIQ, CPAF, etc.)
- Ensuring timely delivery of multiple pricing submissions within tight proposal deadlines
- Maintaining compliance with FAR/DFAR regulations, TINA requirements, and customer specifications
- Supporting government audits, fact-finding, customer negotiations, and certifications
- Conducting strategic and risk-based proposal reviews
- Coordinating with Pricing Management to prioritize concurrent proposal activities
- Preparing for and supporting color team reviews
- Mentoring junior analysts as needed
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics, or related discipline
- 6+ years of relevant pricing experience in government and commercial contracting
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and CAS regulations
- Proficiency with Deltek ProPricer and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Experience with multiple contract types and government contracting regulations
- Aerospace/defense industry experience preferred
- Ability to obtain/maintain Secret DoD clearance; U.S. citizenship required
The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively. Experience with international pricing, project planning, and program controls is a plus.
