Oversee execution with key subcontractors through all program phases, including SRR/PDR/CDR milestones, supplier status reporting, and program management-related SDRLs. Drive supply and demand planning with Operations, Engineering, and Planning to identify gaps early and escalate critical issues immediately. Lead risk and opportunity management for material content, including mitigation plans and clear communication of impacts to cost, schedule, and delivery. Partner with Engineering on development of technical requirements, design release, test and qualification plans. Collaborate with the Supply Chain organization for execution of material strategy. Financial Accountability: Own program-level material financials, including material sales forecasts, estimates at completion (EACs), and associated risks and opportunities. Review and advise Program forecasts and EAC changes; ensure variances are understood, explained, and acted upon. Customer and Leadership Interface: Serve as a senior customer contact for material and subcontract program information. Present in Program Management Reviews, leadership briefings, and customer reviews. Lead material content for proposals and new business pursuits, including basis of estimates (BOEs) and subcontract plans. Provide executive-level reporting on material program health, supplier performance, and key metrics. Compliance: Ensure prime contract flow-downs (FAR/DFARS and customer-specific terms) are identified, flowed to Supply Chain, and adhered to. Maintain compliance with U.S. Government regulations, including ITAR/EAR export requirements, in all material and subcontract program activities. This role pairs strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
