Salary: USD 146,400 - 235,375 / annual
DocuSign is seeking a Senior FP&A Manager to serve as the primary finance partner to the Commercial Sales organization, reporting to the Director of North America Sales and Global Partners. This is an individual contributor role within the Go-To-Market FP&A team.
You will own end-to-end financial planning and analysis for the Commercial Business Unit, managing both topline performance and operating expenses. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining driver-based topline models incorporating bookings, pipeline, quota capacity, sales productivity, attainment, headcount, and ramp assumptions. You'll own expense forecasting and planning across headcount, compensation, commissions, travel, and programs.
You will partner closely with Commercial Sales leadership to understand business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations on growth, productivity, efficiency, and investment decisions. You'll lead annual budgeting and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment between topline expectations, resource requirements, and financial targets.
Additional responsibilities include analyzing actual versus forecasted performance to identify key variance drivers, building robust financial models and scenario analyses to support capacity and hiring decisions, preparing financial results and insights for senior leadership, and supporting monthly and quarterly business reviews. You'll collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Analytics, Accounting, and other Finance teams to ensure consistency across KPIs and reporting.
Required qualifications: BA/BS in Business, Finance, or related field; 12+ years of FP&A or Sales Finance experience supporting revenue-generating organizations; experience managing both topline forecasting and operating expense planning; strong knowledge of sales economics and GTM drivers; advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for driver-based forecasts and scenario modeling; experience managing headcount and operating expense forecasts for large or complex organizations; ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights; and experience influencing senior stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications include prior Sales Finance or GTM FP&A experience at a SaaS company, experience supporting Commercial/Mid-Market/Enterprise Sales organizations, FP&A experience at a publicly traded company, and strong understanding of SaaS financial metrics.
