Voyager Space is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as the primary financial partner to the Products portfolio Business Manager. This role is central to shaping financial performance across a fast-paced portfolio of defense and commercial contracts.
You will partner closely with Product Line VPs/Directors, program management, operations, contracts, scheduling, and executive leadership to drive business performance, manage program profitability, and ensure accurate, timely financial data for strategic decision-making. The role goes beyond routine reporting, delivering actionable insights into Estimates at Complete (EAC), forecasts, and risk/opportunity identification to drive profitability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the financial lead for assigned programs, supporting the LOB Manager with daily financial strategy, budgeting, and performance management
- Leading preparation and analysis of complex quarterly EACs for fixed-price and cost-reimbursement contracts to ensure accurate revenue and profit recognition
- Driving monthly and annual budgeting processes, variance analysis, and long-range forecasts
- Identifying, tracking, and mitigating execution risks while forecasting impacts on program cost and schedule
- Developing advanced Excel and Power BI dashboards for executive briefings on program health
- Ensuring strict compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and GAAP standards
- Collaborating with Contracts, Business Development, and Proposal Operations on cost proposals and pricing strategies
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; 8+ years progressive finance experience with at least 3 years in aerospace, defense, or government contracting; deep understanding of FAR, DFARS, and CAS regulations; advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and financial modeling tools; U.S. Citizenship with eligibility for Secret Clearance.
Preferred: experience in both fixed-price and cost-reimbursable contract environments; working-level Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
