Salary: USD 175,100 - 262,700 / annual
Rubrik is seeking a Senior Finance Manager for Go-to-Market (GTM) to drive financial strategy and business partnering for the Americas and Product Line Sales (PLS) organizations. This role sits at the center of a fast-scaling GTM function during an AI-native transformation journey.
You will report to the Director of Finance and own comprehensive business partnering responsibilities, including:
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver monthly presentations and strategic recommendations on Global ACV, OpEx, and ROI insights, including impact of productivity, attrition, and hiring on ACV plans and quotas
- Analyze observed ROI across various sales segments based on all direct and indirect costs
- Evaluate effectiveness of Product Sales Teams across product lines
- Serve as a trusted business and analytical partner to Sales and Finance leaders, translating data into clear recommendations that influence decisions
- Construct and present monthly and quarterly reviews of Americas Sales and Global Product Sales to executive leadership
- Build and present ROI frameworks for overlay Product Sales teams, including fully loaded P&Ls with ecosystem costs
- Own complete headcount management for Americas Sales and Global Product Sales; collaborate with Sales Ops and Recruiting to maintain accurate actuals and forecasts
- Analyze how commission structures drive rep behavior across product lines
- Build AI-assisted, automated workflows for recurring reporting, budget vs. actual analysis, and forecasting; architect AI-driven FP&A workflows and automated reporting pipelines to shift team capacity from data aggregation to high-value strategic analysis
The role requires someone who can drive ambiguous projects independently, identify gaps and anticipate problems before they impact the business, and serve as a subject-matter expert who defines project scope, identifies gaps (strategic vs. tactical), provides recommendations, and drives results via cross-functional collaboration.
This position is based in Palo Alto, California and requires in-office attendance 3 days per week.
**Requirements:**
- At least 8+ years of related finance/FP&A experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master's degree
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
- Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g., LLM assistants, Claude, agents) to automate analysis, build workflows, or accelerate reporting, with judgment to validate AI output for accuracy
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in high-growth, fast-changing environments; comfortable with shifting priorities, incomplete information, and tight timelines
- Instinct to identify broken, manual, or repetitive processes and redesign them; comfortable respectfully challenging the status quo and proposing better ways of working
**Helpful (not required):**
- Experience with Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Salesforce, Tableau, Workday, or Coupa
- Prior experience managing headcount and conducting budget vs. actual (BvA) calls
- Experience with sales bookings plans, expense plans, and sales headcount ratios
