Salary: USD 150,000 - 180,000 / annual
Cobot is seeking a Senior Deployment Program Manager to lead the end-to-end deployment of collaborative robotics solutions across customer sites. You will oversee onsite testing and preparation of robot fleets, coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, solutions, operations, sales), and manage project scope, milestones, and deliverables. Your responsibilities include leading project planning and resource allocation, conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies, collaborating with external customers to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions, and driving continuous improvement through lessons learned and process documentation.
You will work in a fast-paced startup environment focused on reimagining human-robot interaction. The role requires strong communication skills to articulate complex concepts across all organizational levels, deep understanding of robotic systems and deployment methodologies, and proven ability to build customer relationships based on trust and reliability. You will travel 30-60% for customer visits and onsite implementation activities, with a preference for candidates near major airport hubs.
Key aspects of the role include overseeing fleet preparation, defining project scope with cross-functional stakeholders, managing concurrent projects through their full lifecycle (initiation through closeout), assessing and mitigating deployment risks, and creating detailed operational workflows and training materials. You will be expected to thrive in a collaborative environment, maintain an analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement, and demonstrate innovative problem-solving skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Business, or related field
- 5+ years of professional project or program management experience with end-to-end accountability for 1-3 concurrent projects through full lifecycle
- Experience leading deployments of robotics, automation, or innovative technologies in warehouses, manufacturing, or healthcare sectors
- Strong understanding of robotic systems, automation, hardware/software integration, and deployment methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts and collaborate across teams and customers
- Analytical mindset with focus on continuous improvement and repeatable processes
- Proven experience building strong customer relationships
- Skilled in creating operational workflows, training materials, and documentation
- Willingness to travel 30-60% for customer visits and onsite implementation
- Must have and maintain US work authorization
PREFERRED:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with early-stage technology in startup environment
- Track record of successfully introducing multiple robotic systems into production pathways
- Systems integration and architecture experience
- Prior experience managing concurrent pilot programs
- Innovative problem-solving skills with experience streamlining deployment processes
