Salary: USD 110,000 - 130,000 / annual
Yubico, a publicly traded global leader in identity security and creator of the YubiKey hardware-backed passkey, is seeking a Senior Demand and Supply Planning Analyst for the Americas region. This role is based in Santa Clara, CA and reports into the supply chain organization.
You will own short- and mid-term demand, supply, and production planning for the Americas, translating commercial forecasts and customer deployment requirements into actionable supply and production plans. You will ensure appropriate inventory levels, product availability, and cross-functional alignment across Sales, Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute short- and mid-term demand and supply plans, translating sales forecasts, historical demand, and customer requirements into production schedules
- Partner with Sales to review forecasts, pipeline, and large opportunities; monitor forecast accuracy and proactively address variances
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics to align production capacity, raw material availability, inventory, and lead times with demand
- Maintain healthy inventory levels while balancing product availability, customer service, working capital, and excess/obsolete inventory risk
- Identify demand, supply, inventory, and production constraints and develop mitigation and prioritization plans
- Act as key interface between Manufacturing and internal stakeholders, communicating production plans, constraints, and changes
- Lead regular demand and supply reviews, providing visibility into forecasts, inventory, production, shortages, and risks
- Develop and maintain planning KPIs and reporting (forecast accuracy, inventory health, service levels, supply attainment)
- Build and improve planning processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Partner on product lifecycle planning, including new product introductions (NPI), upgrades, and end-of-life (EOL) transitions
- Participate in NetSuite implementation and continuous improvement of demand and supply planning capabilities
- Use Google Sheets for planning models, scenario analysis, reporting, and KPI tracking; Google Docs, Slides, and Drive for documentation and collaboration
- Identify opportunities to improve planning effectiveness, reduce lead times and costs
- Stay current on supply chain planning best practices and emerging technologies
- Occasional international travel to Yubico offices, customer sites, and company events

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, production planning, or supply chain management, preferably in high-tech manufacturing
- Strong experience managing short- and mid-term demand, supply, inventory, and production planning
- Hands-on proficiency with NetSuite, including demand and supply planning functionality
- Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets and strong working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Drive)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience developing planning models, KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting (Looker Studio or Power BI experience is a plus)
- Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory management, production planning, product lifecycle management, and supply chain operations
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams and drive process improvements in cross-functional environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex planning issues into clear business risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations
- Strong ownership, problem-solving, and execution skills in dynamic, fast-changing environments
- Discipline to follow and promote Yubico's security, privacy, and operational best practices
Bonus: Lean and/or Six Sigma certification, particularly with emphasis on manufacturing or supply chain operations.
