Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Air Defense team builds networked sensors and effectors to detect and defeat unmanned aerial system (UAS) threats. As a Special Projects Manager within the Air Defense Mission Operations organization, you will lead critical emerging initiatives that can convert into new products, teams, or programs.
You will be inserted into dynamic, rapidly evolving situations and wear multiple hats across product development, program management, and international growth initiatives. You will serve as the face of Anduril to end-users and customers, articulating capabilities and limitations at both executive and layman's levels. You will communicate the strategic, financial, technical, and operational rationale for emerging Air Defense technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
**Product Development**: Lead cross-functional teams building early-stage products and scaling them. Work across product, engineering, operations, logistics, and test teams to spearhead product development and maturation initiatives.
**Program Management**: Partner with capture, growth, and engineering leads to shepherd emerging proposals into successful programs. Forecast resources, liaise with subject matter experts on engineering capacity, and exercise strategic and tactical decision-making to ensure new programs succeed on cost, schedule, and performance dimensions.
**Support Global Growth Initiatives**: Act as a trusted consultant on Air Defense products for international development opportunities and strategic engagements. Communicate engineering and production roadmap nuances, consult on product-market fit for international growth, and participate in high-visibility engagements with senior domestic and foreign government officials.
**Flex Capacity**: Demonstrate extreme professional versatility as an elite generalist, owning end-to-end cross-functional initiatives as the business line grows.
Anduril moves fast and grants tremendous autonomy to new hires. You should expect to run at least two independent cross-functional projects within 60 days of hiring.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years as a cross-functional leader in hardware and/or software organizations
- Demonstrated success delivering technology to large commercial institutions or government organizations
- Proven experience leading tech-enabled teams of peers across specializations
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- Willing to travel up to 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success working in at least two discrete industries
- Exposure to robot autonomy, machine learning, sensor fusion, data analytics
- Experience in rapid prototype development and fielding
- Advanced Degree
- Demonstrated interest in national security issues and defense technologies
