Okta's Deal Operations team is seeking a Senior Deal Operations professional to support the Sustainability and Responsible Technology function. In this role, you will serve as the foundational support layer for sustainability and responsible technology customer and investor requests within the deal operations team. You will focus on generating accurate, audit-ready answers to customer sustainability questionnaires, managing stakeholder relationships with subject-matter experts, and navigating various data sources to ensure Okta remains a highly compliant and competitive partner. In today's B2B landscape, sustainability is no longer just a compliance checklist—it is a critical commercial gatekeeper and sales enabler. Key responsibilities include: • Sales Enablement & RFP Support: Support the Sales team by providing strategic guidance on sustainability and responsible technology aspects of deals. Respond to customer sustainability questionnaires and RFPs using public sustainability disclosures and internal FAQs housed in RFPIO, while advising on standard terms. • Deal Management: Manage and operationalize deals that include complex sustainability and responsible technology topics such as AI ethics, data privacy, and energy-efficient IT infrastructure. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the core Sustainability team to ensure accurate, data-driven representation of Okta's sustainability and responsible technology initiatives to enterprise buyers. • Accurate Reporting Capabilities: Utilize various metric tracking systems to provide robust and accurate data sets around customer requests each quarter and fiscal year. • Process Optimization: Participate in team projects and initiatives to enhance the sales cycle, streamline sustainability and responsible technology data delivery, and proactively tailor sustainability narratives to align with specific client priorities. The ideal candidate has previous experience in sustainability and responsible technology, sales operations, strategic response software (RFPIO), or customer support roles. You should be familiar with Salesforce CPQ and/or subscription management tools, understand the growing impact of global sustainability regulations (such as CSRD and supply chain transparency requirements), and be interested in working within systems to manage processes that affect multiple teams. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred) • 1–2 years in Sales or Customer Support with direct experience reviewing Order Forms and legal/deal terms • Proficient in written and verbal communication in English • Meticulous attention to detail and data-driven mindset; strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high bar for accuracy • Highly responsive; thrives in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines • Able to work extended schedules during month-end and quarter-end cycles • Intermediate knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, ability to create ad-hoc models and analysis) • Experience in Salesforce (including reporting and dashboards) and strategic response software applications (e.g., RFPIO) is required • Comfortable sharing new ideas and building new processes based on friction or team needs
