Pendo's GTM Intelligence Team is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own the full lifecycle of intelligence solutions that drive measurable outcomes across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Engineering. You'll combine data analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling to answer high-value business questions and help GTM teams work faster and more effectively. Day-to-day responsibilities include leveraging data analysis and machine learning to identify opportunities and mitigate risks for GTM teams, from problem framing through delivery and iteration. You'll work collaboratively with data & AI engineers, analysts, revenue operations, and GTM stakeholders to ensure your work is actionable and clearly connected to business decisions. A key part of the role is translating model outputs and analytical findings into clear business narratives through slides, write-ups, presentations, and async communication. You'll use AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate delivery and prototype faster, while applying critical thinking to validate and own the output. You'll share and build reusable patterns, model documentation, and technical findings with the broader team. The role involves answering high-value business questions through analysis and experimentation—developing hypotheses, owning the approach, and communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You'll also partner with GTM teams to enable adoption of the models and tools you build. The ideal candidate connects data to business outcomes and understands what drives revenue team decisions. You thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, knowing when a problem needs a thorough solution versus a quick answer. You're genuinely curious about emerging tools and techniques, including AI assistants, and you make the people around you better by sharing what you learn and documenting what you build. Must-haves: 2-4 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related quantitative field; Bachelor's or Master's in a STEM field; proficiency with Python and SQL; solid grasp of statistical concepts, predictive modeling, and machine learning; strong communication skills; experience with recurring revenue business models preferred; direct experience in or alongside GTM functions (Sales ops, Marketing analytics, Customer Success, RevOps); comfort navigating ambiguity and moving fast with imperfect information.
