Thunkable is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to join its Data & Analytics team. You'll transform product and business data into actionable insights that drive product strategy, growth, and customer experience improvements. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Leadership, you'll define success metrics, measure feature impact, identify growth opportunities, and support experimentation initiatives.
Key responsibilities include partnering with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities and influence product strategy; conducting end-to-end analyses including funnel, cohort, retention, segmentation, and monetization studies; defining and evaluating success metrics for new features and experiments; building dashboards and self-service analytics tools; collaborating with engineers on product event tracking implementation within React-based interfaces; troubleshooting data quality issues; documenting metrics and tracking plans; and integrating data from multiple sources (Amplitude, Google Ads, Meta Ads, payment systems, CRM) into a unified business view.
You'll need a BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience, plus 3+ years in data science, analytics, or quantitative roles with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Required expertise includes product analytics, experimentation design, funnel and retention analysis, user behavior analysis, event tracking instrumentation, real-time and historical data handling (cleaning, processing, analysis, modeling), SQL/Python/R proficiency, and familiarity with analytics tools like Amplitude and Google Analytics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and visualization abilities, and startup-environment adaptability are essential.
Preferred qualifications include experience improving data pipelines, storage, and analytical frameworks, plus event tracking technologies like JavaScript and Google Tag Manager.
