Reserv is a venture-backed insurtech (Series C, funded by Bain Capital and Altai Ventures) automating claims processing through AI and automation technology. Founded in 2022 by insurtech veterans, the company is building a leading TPA (Third-Party Administrator) platform to modernize how claims are handled.
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be a core member of Reserv's data team, responsible for defining the company's analytical foundation and growth trajectory. You'll develop and maintain the data model, curate the semantic layer powering analytics and intelligent tools, and generate features that unlock deeper insights into the claims lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining dashboards that provide actionable insights for executive and functional leaders
- Developing robust Python and SQL-based reports to support understanding of claim lifecycle and operational performance
- Collaborating with engineering and operations teams to understand source systems and translate them into standardized data models
- Conducting analyses to investigate performance issues, identify root causes, and make recommendations to leadership
- Serving as the primary technical liaison between the data team and key internal stakeholders
- Communicating analytical solutions through clear writing and presentations
- Helping shape the culture, values, and processes of a growing data team
You'll work independently and collaboratively, bringing curiosity about how claims work and how systems process them. The role requires strong Python and SQL skills, the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and comfort working in an evolving, fast-moving environment where you'll tackle novel problems in insurance claims automation.
