MinIO is the data and memory foundation for enterprise AI, trusted by 77% of the Fortune 100. The company builds AIStor and MemKV to unify the data stack from agentic and inference context memory to tables and objects across core, edge, and cloud.
You will own key pieces of the AI product line as a senior product leader on a small, high-leverage team. This role bridges product strategy, customer engagement, and go-to-market execution. You'll be responsible for growth strategy in AI—defining where MinIO plays, who to sell to, and how to win. You'll spend significant time with customers (inference platform teams, data platform leads, and executive buyers), participate in strategic deals, and run win/loss analysis to feed back into strategy.
You'll partner closely with Marketing on positioning and narrative, ensuring AI stories land effectively in market and that first-time buyers understand MinIO's value. You'll build enablement assets that field teams actually use, support critical deals, and ensure the sales organization can confidently run inference-buyer and lakehouse-buyer conversations. Pricing and packaging decisions fall within your scope—determining how MinIO's portfolio products are packaged, how AI and Analytics motions are priced, and how the company captures value as workloads scale.
You'll also own competitive intelligence in the AI training and inference landscape, shape differentiation strategy, unlock partner GTM opportunities (the AI ecosystem is partner-heavy), and serve as the most informed external voice influencing product direction through customer signals, pipeline data, and competitive insight.
Required: 8+ years in product management with at least 3 years on infrastructure, data, or AI/ML products sold to technical buyers. You must be fluent in modern AI and analytics stacks—conversant in how training and inference pipelines consume storage, key tradeoffs, and how data platform teams make build/buy decisions. You should have a track record of working closely with field teams on real revenue, sitting in on deals, building enablement that sellers used, and changing deal outcomes with well-timed product conversations.
You'll need strong partnership with marketing on crafting narratives, experience presenting at external conferences and webinars, analytical instincts grounded in data, and the ability to write clearly and think rigorously. You must have earned engineers' trust through technical credibility and defensible prioritization. Experience with pricing and packaging decisions (owned or co-owned, not just commented on) is a plus. Background in storage, analytics, databases, or data infrastructure is valued. Prior experience at high-growth infrastructure companies and familiarity with open-source-adjacent commercial products and their unique GTM motions are strong signals.
