Parloa is an enterprise AI platform that has powered over one billion customer interactions for global brands like Booking.com, HealthEquity, Allianz, SAP, and TUI. The company is building agentic AI systems that transform customer support from transactional interactions into meaningful exchanges.
As a Senior Agent Architect, you will serve as a solution architect for enterprise AI Agent deployments, designing end-to-end system architectures that integrate Parloa's platform into complex enterprise environments. Your core responsibilities include:
**Architecture & Integration:** Design comprehensive solution architectures mapping how Parloa integrates with enterprise systems (CRMs, ERPs, ticketing systems, contact center platforms). Build and configure integrations using integration platforms and APIs, applying systems thinking to solve multi-system data flow challenges. Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers on complex custom integration scenarios.
**AI Agent Design & Prompt Engineering:** Translate customer requirements into reliable agent behavior using LLM knowledge (embeddings, prompt engineering techniques like chain-of-thought and few-shot learning). Design conversational flows and fine-tune voice output (SSML, Lexicons, Regex) to align with customer brand standards. Conduct A/B testing to assess agent performance.
**Testing & Validation:** Apply structured testing approaches to validate architecture, integration reliability, and AI agent performance under real-world conditions.
**Cross-functional Collaboration:** Identify and resolve blockers with Product, Solution Engineering, Sales, and customers. Scope AI Agent deployments and provide strategic architecture advice. Document best practices, how-to guides, and product capabilities for internal and external audiences.
**Required Experience:** 3+ years in enterprise customer-facing roles with proven expertise in solution architecture, systems architecture, or enterprise integration. Strong systems thinking and track record solving complex technical problems across multiple systems. Experience with complex SaaS implementations at scale. Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON/XML, API testing tools (Postman), and authentication patterns (OAuth, JWT). Ability to read and consume API documentation across enterprise platforms. Fluent in Italian and English (required).
**Valued Skills:** Conversation design, prompt engineering, and A/B testing experience are pluses but not requirements—the company will train. Analytical mindset, strong project and stakeholder management, entrepreneurial orientation, and results focus.
