Labcorp, a global leader in laboratory services and diagnostics, is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join the Managed Care team. This remote role focuses on building and maintaining innovative client relationships with health plans and other healthcare payer organizations.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing payer clients, managing onboarding, escalations, contractual matters, and ongoing operations. Key responsibilities include coordinating outreach to prospective partners, utilizing CRM and analytics tools to track client data and renewals, and monitoring success metrics (KPIs, NPS, renewal rates, adoption) to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
The role requires you to quickly understand new customer types, their business challenges and objectives, and proactively identify Labcorp products and solutions to meet their needs. You will independently navigate customization and internal process requirements with minimal client friction. You'll support the creation of customized proposals with tailored value propositions, novel pricing models, and diverse product/service combinations.
You will lead cross-functional internal initiatives to integrate new client types into established processes—including regulatory approvals, pilot collaborations, and joint strategy planning. Collaboration with operations, product, and sales teams is essential to align client expectations with product delivery, identify revenue growth opportunities, and expand service adoption. You'll perform customized analytics on operational and financial performance, support sales presentations, and influence internal and client timelines to deliver on SLAs.
This is a role for a seasoned client success professional who thrives in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. You'll take ownership of complex client relationships, identify growth opportunities within your book of business, and demonstrate strong client advocacy.
