OneTrust is seeking a Customer Success Engineer for its Privacy Automation product to support AMER-timezone customers. The company's mission is to enable innovation through responsible data and AI use, offering a unified governance platform trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide.
In this role, you will deliver 1:1 "Ask the Expert" sessions (1–2 hours each) with customers focused on resolving product issues, clarifying behavior, and answering configuration and troubleshooting questions across OneTrust's Privacy Automation and Data & AI governance modules. You will translate customer challenges into actionable guidance, empowering users to configure and troubleshoot independently while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting hands-on troubleshooting and configuration support sessions with customers
- Building trusted relationships with customer users and administrators through empathy and clear communication
- Partnering with Technical Advisors, Support, Product, and Enablement teams to relay customer insights and improve internal processes
- Creating and maintaining scalable enablement assets (knowledgebase articles, blog posts, video tutorials) that reflect common customer engagement patterns
This is primarily a reactive, tactical role that plays a critical part in ensuring positive customer outcomes. The position offers a stepping stone toward more strategic, consultative roles within the Customer Success Architecture and Technical Advisory teams, such as Technical Architect positions.
Location: Bengaluru, India (Hybrid). Working hours: 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST to align with AMER timezone. The company embraces an office-first culture with three days per week in office for most roles.

- Familiarity with cloud-based software platforms and enterprise SaaS workflows
- Strong product troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to simplify complex topics
- Customer-first mindset with high emotional intelligence and empathy
