Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Senior Account Executive for its Commercial segment to drive new business in the Alabama/Mississippi territory (potentially including Tennessee). This is a key individual contributor role focused on achieving sales quota through lead generation, relationship building, and deal closure. You will design and execute a comprehensive business plan for your assigned territory, targeting a 70% net new logo / 30% current customer split. Your responsibilities include identifying and qualifying prospects, setting appointments, managing the full sales cycle, and closing new business. You'll develop territory action plans using data analysis, adjust sales techniques based on field results, and maintain exceptional relationships with channel partners in a tier-two model. Key responsibilities include: - Prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities - Building and maintaining relationships with channel partners to identify sales opportunities - Demonstrating deep product knowledge of Veeam's data resilience and security solutions - Preparing proposals and documentation for executive-level presentations - Coordinating with Inside Sales, Channel Managers, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Deal Desk, and Legal teams - Managing and growing a qualified pipeline in Salesforce - Negotiating favorable pricing and business terms by positioning value and ROI - Developing key account relationships and identifying market trends - Executing territory plans to maximize revenue and coverage - Traveling within the assigned territory as needed You must possess strong negotiating skills, comprehensive understanding of the Veeam sales process, and the ability to showcase solutions compellingly. The role requires residency in the Alabama/Mississippi territory and the ability to travel within the region.
