MaintainX, now part of Autodesk Operations Solutions, is a mobile-first work execution platform used by over 13,000 customers including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL, and Volvo to optimize operations across 13.9 million managed assets and 79.5 million completed work orders.
As Senior Customer Education Specialist, you will design, produce, and maintain educational content for MaintainX's customer learning channels. You will create and deliver content that enables MaintainX users to develop critical skills through scalable learning offerings including webinars, virtual classes, and in-person training. Reporting to the Principal Manager of Customer Education, you will collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to understand customer educational needs and translate them into high-quality, skills-focused learning experiences. You will also contribute to shaping the education and training program for Autodesk Operations Solutions, a new Autodesk business unit.
Key responsibilities:
- Define educational content requirements in consultation with subject matter experts to support customer development of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) skills
- Conduct ongoing learner audience research to understand motivations and evolving skill needs in the field
- Use instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM) to design both self-paced and instructor-led learning experiences
- Deliver or coordinate instructor-led learning experiences including live and on-demand webinars, virtual classes, and field training sessions
- Contribute to the Customer Education team roadmap in collaboration with your team
- Mentor other Customer Education team members on curriculum and content design
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in education-related roles (customer education, Training & Enablement, Learning & Development, or teaching)
- Minimum 1 year designing and delivering instructor-led learning experiences
- Proficiency with content creation tools for live training materials (Google Slides, PowerPoint, Canva, Figma)
- Knowledge of live training delivery platforms (Zoom Webinar, Webex, CloudShare)
- Experience collaborating with subject matter experts for content ideation and review
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts in clear, concise language
- Meticulous attention to detail regarding grammar, aesthetics, and consistency
Desirable qualifications:
- Experience in industrial maintenance and/or manufacturing
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) systems
- Maintenance or reliability certifications (CMRP, CRE)
- Experience at fast-evolving software companies, particularly SaaS
- Knowledge of project management tools (Jira, Notion)
- Knowledge of course authoring tools (Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Parta)
- Video production tool experience (Camtasia, DaVinci Resolve, Clueso)
- Experience with customer academy LMS platforms (WorkRamp, Skilljar)
- Fluency in Spanish and/or French
