Lightspeed is hiring a Product Adoption Specialist to join the Customer Success team for their Golf product (a POS and management platform for golf courses, retail shops, and restaurants). You will drive product adoption and customer success by conducting training sessions, onboarding new features, and collaborating with account managers to resolve customer challenges and ensure long-term retention.
Key responsibilities include:
- Train and guide customers on Golf POS features, parameters, and operational workflows for retail and restaurant environments
- Deploy new functionality when account managers close upsells
- Lead training sessions with a retention-focused approach, adapting teaching methods to different learning styles and customer profiles
- Work closely with account management, customer success, technical support, and product development teams to continuously improve the customer experience
- Partner with the product development team to inform feature evolution and implementation
- Assess customer comprehension and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Document customer progress, track issues and blockers, and recommend concrete actions to increase satisfaction and support retention
- Proactively manage the retention pipeline by monitoring at-risk accounts, prioritizing interventions, and coordinating next steps with internal stakeholders
- Present product features, add-on modules, and integrations to address customer operational needs while maintaining high satisfaction
Required qualifications:
- Direct customer-facing experience
- Fluency in English (required for a global company with employees and customers outside Quebec)
- Background in training, teaching, onboarding, or facilitation
- Experience in the golf industry or passionate golfer
- Ability to quickly learn and clearly explain technical concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills to help customers use their POS system effectively
- Results-oriented mindset with focus on KPIs and solution-finding
Desirable (not required):
- Prior technical role experience (software, IT, technical support)
- Retail or hospitality sector background
- Microsoft Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, basic formulas)
- Familiarity with Slack, ChurnZero, Zendesk, HubSpot
- Understanding of SaaS sales cycles and customer journeys
