Allica Bank, the UK's fastest-growing fintech, is seeking a Specialist Portfolio Manager - Healthcare to join the Distribution team's Specialist Relationship Managers (SRM) group. Reporting to the Senior Specialist Relationship Manager, you will develop and manage relationships with a portfolio of UK-based SME healthcare clients, including elderly care homes, specialist learning disability facilities, and children's day nurseries. Transaction debt levels typically range from £0.5m to £20m. You will serve as the primary relationship contact for these businesses, ensuring high-quality customer management throughout the lending lifecycle. Key responsibilities include portfolio management across Allica's growing product suite (current accounts, deposits, lending), monitoring covenant compliance, reviewing quarterly management information and audited accounts, analyzing cashflow forecasts and business plans, and facilitating credit submissions. You will meet with customers and advisors both in-person and remotely, work collaboratively across Allica's teams to deliver seamless service, and liaise with Collections and Recoveries teams when customers face financial stress. The ideal candidate has strong SME banking and commercial lending experience, with deep Excel proficiency for financial modeling and account analysis. You must be comfortable tracking portfolio metrics, working independently with established SMEs, and demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
