Apollo.io is a leading go-to-market platform trusted by over 500,000 companies globally, providing sales and marketing teams with verified B2B contact data and engagement tools. Founded in 2015, Apollo has raised ~$250M and is valued at $1.6B, backed by top-tier investors including Sequoia Capital and Bain Capital Ventures. This Partner Manager role owns Apollo's frontier AI partnerships across the rapidly evolving AI agent and foundation model ecosystem. You'll deepen relationships with foundation model companies (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity), agent harnesses, and AI-native platforms while identifying new surfaces for integration. Key responsibilities include: **Own and Deepen AI Partnerships**: Manage Apollo's relationships with foundation model companies and AI-native platforms. Expand existing partnerships with better placement, tighter integration, and strategic roadmap alignment. Continuously scan the landscape for emerging surfaces and build investment cases. Lead partner certification, compliance, and app store submissions. Drive monetization strategies by identifying usage growth opportunities and converting platform reach into revenue. **Build Next-Generation Surfaces**: Partner with platforms and ISVs to design and ship plugins, skills, and MCP servers that make Apollo genuinely useful in headless environments. Translate partner capabilities into Apollo product decisions. Treat each new surface as a distinct product: defining scope, target users, and discovery mechanisms. **Stay on the Frontier**: Track foundation model and agent ecosystem developments in real-time. Translate market changes into actionable partnership strategy before they become obvious. Serve as the internal expert credibly explaining what's happening in this space and why it matters for Apollo. You'll need 5+ years in technology/API partnerships, developer relations, or technical partnerships roles, ideally in foundation model or AI-native ecosystems. Genuine technical fluency with API docs, MCP concepts, and integration architecture is essential. You can track fast-moving, emerging categories and explain recent developments. You're comfortable coordinating multi-party partnerships and building processes in categories without established playbooks.
