This Manager role leads Airwallex's entry and growth strategy in Southeast Asia, a pivotal market expansion opportunity. You will own end-to-end strategy and execution across commercial, operations, product, and regional teams.
Key responsibilities include: (1) Market Strategy – size and map the SEA market, identify key verticals, competitors, ideal customer profiles, and revenue opportunities across Airwallex's product suite (global accounts, FX, payments, issuing, treasury); (2) Go-to-Market Execution – collaborate with local and international teams to plan and drive SEA launch, define country-specific plays, coordinate milestones, and drive accountability; (3) Customer Operations – partner with operations, risk, compliance, and implementation teams to design seamless onboarding and activation while balancing customer experience with regulatory requirements; (4) Process Localization – adapt and scale existing Airwallex processes (lead management, pipeline hygiene, pricing, forecasting, incentives) for SEA; (5) Product-Market Fit – identify PMF opportunities, gather customer feedback, and translate insights into prioritized product requirements; (6) Analytics & Decision Support – run rigorous analysis on market sizing, pricing, unit economics, sales productivity, and channel performance to guide executive decisions; (7) Cross-Functional Leadership – own complex initiatives (vertical entry, partnerships, product launches, process redesign) end-to-end, driving alignment and on-time delivery.
You'll work in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment with founder-like energy, balancing speed and rigor. The role requires deep collaboration across time zones and markets, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to turn 0→1 ideas into execution.
