Wiz is a fast-growing cloud security platform (recently acquired by Google) that helps enterprises secure cloud and AI applications. As a Solutions Engineer, you'll support mid-market enterprise customers in India, partnering directly with Account Executives to deliver technical leadership and drive cloud security adoption across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
You'll be the trusted technical advisor for customers, responsible for understanding their cloud security challenges and demonstrating how Wiz's platform solves them. Key responsibilities include partnering with sales to meet quarterly targets, delivering technical presentations (whiteboards, product demos, slides, POV outcomes), designing and executing proof-of-value engagements, conducting training sessions, and helping customers plan comprehensive test plans to validate platform value.
You'll report to the Manager of Solutions Engineering for India and work closely with the sales team to accelerate deal cycles and maximize customer value realization. The role requires deep technical knowledge of cloud platforms, security posture management, identity and access controls, and modern infrastructure practices.
Required qualifications include proven sales engineering or solutions engineering experience with C-level enterprise customers, hands-on public cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), cloud security expertise including risk assessments and frameworks, network engineering background with OS/VM/container knowledge, and understanding of cloud identity, access, certificates, and keys. Preferred experience includes CSPM tools, SaaS industry background, CI/CD process familiarity, Infrastructure as Code tools, and proven ability to deliver high-quality technical demonstrations and training.
