Salary: CAD 201,000 - 268,000 / annual

You will join as a Commercial Solutions Engineer, partnering closely with Account Executives to drive new business growth. This is a customer-facing technical sales role where you will co-own a book of business, lead technical discovery and solution architecture, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with AEs to identify, qualify, and close new Commercial customer opportunities
- Leading technical discovery, solution architecture, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements
- Guiding complex multi-stakeholder deals and aligning technical with business objectives
- Providing structured feedback to influence product roadmap and go-to-market strategy
- Building scalable enablement resources, demo environments, and solution blueprints for the SE team
You bring 4–5+ years of customer-facing solutions engineering or solutions architecture experience in networking or security software. You have proven success co-owning pipeline and influencing sales quota outcomes. Your technical foundation includes strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls), deep expertise in zero-trust networking and secure connectivity, and hands-on knowledge of IAM integrations (SSO, SAML, OIDC), privileged access management (PAM), and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, CloudFormation). You have practical architecture experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure, and understand AI gateway and governance platforms. You excel at translating technical features into business value and thrive in high-growth startup environments.
